1. Do i need travel Insurance?

A. Yes, taking out travel insurance can help you get financial and practical help if something goes wrong on your trip. Unfortunately, illness, theft or accidents can happen anywhere. In certain countries it is mandatory to have travel insurance for Visa purposes.


Simply Travel can offer you a fully comprehensive travel insurance policy. Prices will vary according to duration of stay, type of policy required and travel destination.

2. Do I need a passport and visa for my trip ?

A. You require a passport for all international travel. Your passport needs to be valid for at least 6 months upon your return to South Africa. In addition to this it is imperative that you have at least 2 blank pages in your passport when arriving at passport control anywhere in the world.


A travel visa is required to enter many countries. Visa requirements will vary depending on the country you are visiting.

3. What is an electronic ticket ?

A. Electronic ticketing is a time-saving, ticketless way to travel!
In the past you would have received a paper ticket that you would have had to take great care of. With an e-ticket we send you an email confirmation of your booking which will contain your e ticket number.


You should print out your e-ticket and keep it handy during your travel. An e-ticket allows your entire travel experience to be easy and safe because all of your booking and ticket details are held electronically.

4. Do I need to pay upfront for my vacation ?

A. You could pay the full amount or a deposit however a deposit will only secure the price for part of a travel package therefore you will be be liable to pay extra should there be any increases due to the rate of exchange.

5. How do I go about booking a package ?

A. We will need to confirm price and check availability. If confirmed we will require a completed booking form and passport copies of all passengers travelling. Once we have received all the necessary information we will process your booking. Invoice will be issued for payment upon receiving all necessary documentation.

6. If I have a problem during my stay will I get telephonic help 24/7 ?

A. Yes, we will provide you will all the necessary contact details for each service provider(transfers , hotels and tours ) as well as a 24 hour emergency contact number .

10. What is the difference between half board, full board and all inclusive?

A. Half board usually means that accommodation, breakfast and dinner is included; whereas with Full board you the get accommodation, breakfast, lunch and dinner.

With an all inclusive package you get all meals, snacks and fizzy drinks, though some make include alcoholic drinks also.
